Richard was originally involved with providing music for functions and quickly acquired the skills necessary to help make things run smoothly and overcome any problems. He was often asked to introduce speakers, make announcements and voice award ceremonies. This eventually led to Richard becoming a Toastmaster and being accepted into The Society of London Toastmasters. Besides Toastmastering, Richard also works as an actor and voiceover artist. He can be less formal if required, working as a host/compère and if an auctioneer is needed Richard is happy to do this too. When he is not working Richard enjoys the theatre and is a keen supporter of animal welfare. He is a member of Equity, the actors’ union. President 2018 & 2019.
